At a presentation to business analysts today NZWC has forecast a lift in net profit for the year ending 30 June 2006 of $78K to $980K; a further significant lift is projected for the June 2007 year to $1600K. Chief Executive Rob White says that the lift in profit follows an increased grape harvest in 2006, growth in demand in key export markets especially the United States and favourable exchange rate projections.
